TRS is a pioneer in designing, developing and integrating CORE evolving broadband Antenna and RF technologies to evolve new paradigms of multi-band sensor networks, multi-platform Communication payloads, and SMART systems based on AIML decision processes.

Tetra Radio Systems (TRS) is the pioneer in design and development of MULTIFUNCTION ANTENNA SYSTEMS, (MFAS) for Indian Navy Submarines, ships and Shore Stations.

Tetra Radio Systems Group company M/s Navstar has successfully designed manufactured installed and commissioned Indian Navy’s first indigenous MFAS for both conventional and Nuclear Submarines.

TRS has also successfully designed and developed the first MULTIBEAM ANTENNA SYSTEMS (MBAS) which facilitate diverse applications from communications to signal interception, SATCOM and Jamming. The MBAS product series have been customized for for various Defence Platforms, like Warships, Land vehicles and Homeland Security platforms including UAVs (drones).

TRS is the pioneer in successfully implementing the MBAS concept for TELECOM (4G, 5G), WiFi, IOT and SATCOM for LEO, GEO and MEO, Cubesats.

The MFAS and MBAS products have also been successfully integrated as payloads for Autonomous Systems both Drones, surface vehicles and Underwater vehicles.

Head - R&D

Commander Praveen Chandra (Retd.) is the R&D Head at Tetra Radio Systems. He served in the Indian Navy for over 24 years. An alumnus of NDA Khadakvasla and with Master's in RF Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, he brings over 30 years of expertise in Antenna and RF Systems Engineering.
